Born in Liverpool in1973,Tim enjoyed sport from an early age, playing mini rugby at 5 years old and opening the batting for the Yorkshire schoolboys' cricket teams. 
 
Whilst studying for an honours degree in Anthropology he captained Durham University and West Hartlepool.He then worked as a personnel and training manager for ICI before joining Rob Andrew at Newcastle Falcons when Rugby became a Professional Sport.
 
Tim's England Rugby career started at under 16 level and developed through the age groups before winning his first international cap against Italy in 1996. He won a total of 19 caps between 1996 and 2002, played for The Barbarians and top scored for the British Lions on their 1997 Tour against South Africa. 
 
Tim left the Newcastle Falcons to join Dean Richards' Leicester Tigers in 1998.He became the first player in the English Premiership to score over 1000 points and  the only player to win 5 successive premierships.He helped kick  the Leicester Tigers team to back to back Heineken European Cup Championships in 2001 and 2002.
 
Tim moved from Leicester Tigers to experience rugby in France with Perpignan but illness and contractual dispute meant he only took the field once.He returned to England where he played for Leeds Tykes and was player coach at Nuneaton and Nottingham. Tim's personal experiences of the 'ups and downs' of professional sport, coupled with his  work on the board of the Players Union have motivated him to continue to look for ways he can help his fellow professionals maximise their potential both on and off the field.Tim's reputation for integrity and his desire to help others make him am ideal Introducer, Mentor and Coach of  Elite Atheletes. 
 
 
Tim is now an experienced motivational speaker with former clients including  BP, Brakes,Safeway, Hewlett Packard, City Banks and Law Firms.His exceptional ability to communicate with the widest range of people enable him to relate his sporting experiences to help others perform under pressure,focuss on excellence to achieve results and develop Champion teams.
 
Tim also hosts dinners at Tigers and Twickenham and enjoys speaking at a wide range of engagements such as at Conferences, Golf Days, Sportsmans Dinners, School Assemblies and for Charities. Tim acts as an Ambassador for Sparks, The Wooden Spoon, The Princess Trust ,Victim Support and The Christina Noble Foundation .
